Ashley Renee Scott
Ashley's love for performance began at a very young age, growing up on stage through dance, theater, and live performance. After performing throughout her school years, she continued her studies at the University of Colorado before moving to Los Angeles to further develop her craft at Playhouse West.
Â
Her training includes extensive study of the Meisner Technique with Jeff Goldblum, Robert Carnegie, and Tracy and Mark Pellegrino. She has also studied independent filmmaking through Hollywood Film Lab, improv comedy with Jim Nieb and Lincoln Hoppe, Stella Adler-based techniques, and on-camera performance with Mark Pellegrino.
Â
After completing her training, she taught at Playhouse West for several years, helping actors develop a strong foundation in technique, authenticity, and creative confidence. She later moved to Paris, where she helped open the Paris Meisner Studio, continuing her passion for actor training and bringing Meisner-based work to an international community of performers.
Â
As a teacher, she brings a creative, supportive, and practical approach to actor training. She believes every performer has a unique voice and story to tell, and she strives to create an environment where students feel confident taking risks, exploring their imagination, and developing authentic, truthful performances. Whether working with beginners or seasoned actors, her goal is to make the craft accessible, inspiring, and enjoyable while helping each student build the skills needed to succeed both on stage and on screen. She has experienced the tough and unforgiving side of the industry and believes there is no place for cruelty inside the classroom.Â

"Acting is not about being someone else. It's about discovering who you really are. "
